Costume Shopping

Mason and I are going costume shopping tonight. It will be fun to have a date with my "little" man! He really wants to be a cowboy, so thats what we are going to find. Dillon is going to be Dracula. I will post some pictures after Halloween!

Park and Pumpkins

We also carved our first Halloween pumpkin! The boys had so much fun telling us how to do it. Neither one of them wanted to stick their own hands down and scoop out pumpkin guts! Finally Mason did. Yeah, so proud of him! Dillon did try to eat the guts. Daddy carved the spooky mansion on there for us. It was lots of fun!

The weather here has been so beautiful that we decided to take the boys back to the park yesterday. Mason brought his bike and Dillon got a new push car. Dillon loves his car! Mason had a melt down, because in his words "I cant ride my bike, its too windy!" The wind was blowing but not enough to cause him concern :) He was just having a lazy moment!

Pictures and Park

I took the boys to the park the other day. The weather was beautiful. The sun was out, a cool, crispness in the air. Just beautiful! It did start to warm up a bit, notice the pink faces:)
Mason and Dillon love to be outside. They had so much fun. Its so nice to have children who love the outdoors and love to play. Our park has a beautiful water, rock feature that the kiddies liked throwing pennies in. Not sure if thats allowed, but oh well. So first I took them to play on the playground, because they surely wouldnt let me take pictures had i not! Dillon's favorite things are climbing UP the slide and being in the swing. Sometimes I feel like a broken record "up the stairs, down the slide". I must say that about once every minute!
Mason loved "walking" on the shaky poles....sure thats not what they are called.
After about 45minutes of play we walked down to the water area and i was able to get some great pictures of them.

I LOVE the one of them walking and holding hands. So sweet!

Catch up......

I enjoyed going home to visit family, but was sad that my grandmother had pssed away. We did so much stuff when we were down there; zoo, beach, moms farm, and just visited family. These are some pictures from my moms visit. The boys love the horses. Dillon especially loved my moms goats.

Boys at the beach. We spent one day at Pine Island. They had so much fun. I love to watch them play, there is just such an innocence about it. This is a little boy that came over to play as well. I cant remember his name, but he was very sweet.
